If every person that reads this would be willing to donate $10-$20 ($20 gets you a charity tax receipt) to Agassiz Medical Centre Community Board this month we would be able to purchase a few of the items on the 'wish list'.
Did you know that Agassiz Medical Centre now has a Procedure Room? Physicians at the clinic can now do lots of procedures there instead of patients having to go to Boundary Trails or waiting for an appointment to have the procedure done at the hospital. Often the procedure can be done right after a patients doctor appointment or if another appointment is needed the wait is short. As the Procedure Room gets used more and more, there is more equipment that the Physicians are realizing they need.
Also, with the addition of new physicians and other healthcare providers more equipment is needed just within the clinic itself.
That's where Agassiz Medical Centre Community Board comes in. The Board is responsible to purchase the needed equipment. There are many items that the clinic is needing and with your help we can purchase these items.
Having these items benefits patients and overall the community. To have a great healthcare facility in the area is very important.
How amazing would it be to see all the donations come in. It's not a lot of money per person but together that money can do great things.
